Today 16 June 2023 marks the conclusion of our journey with the New Media course – potentially my final teaching experience in Malaysia. As I reflect on our time together, I feel a profound sense of gratitude and satisfaction. The students I’ve had the pleasure of instructing are more than just pupils in a classroom; they’re like my own children. They’ve approached every class with respect and a willingness to learn, demonstrating remarkable talent and potential.
As we progressed through the course, I was impressed by the quality of projects they produced. Their commitment to pushing boundaries and their adaptability to new concepts were commendable.
Yet, I acknowledge that the New Media course, like the field itself, is in a constant state of evolution. To stay relevant and beneficial, it requires consistent updates and revisions. It’s essential that the curriculum keeps pace with the latest developments in the industry to ensure students are well-equipped for their future careers.
After our last class, we shared a meal at KFC, a simple yet poignant gathering. These are the moments that transform a course from a mere educational experience into a cherished memory. As I move on, I will carry these memories with me. To all my students, know that you will be missed dearly. Keep learning, keep growing, and remember that the world of New Media awaits your unique contributions.
