I embarked on my journey to become an architect and successfully obtained my diploma in architecture from UTM in 1996. However, halfway through my architectural pursuits, I found myself captivated by the world of computer graphics and multimedia. This distraction led me to make a firm decision: architecture was no longer my ambition. Instead, I developed a keen interest in computer animation, graphic design, and multimedia.
In 1997, I began my new journey by pursuing a major in this field. I received an offer from MMU and proudly became part of the pioneering batch in Malaysia’s first animation program. Completing my studies in 2000, I swiftly transitioned into the role of a lecturer at MMU. In 2003, I further enhanced my knowledge by attaining an MSc in Multimedia.
Driven by my passion, I embarked on another milestone in 2007. I pursued my Ph.D. in Scotland, UK, specializing in digital heritage and media. This pursuit allowed me to delve deeper into the realm of digital preservation and the intersection of technology with cultural heritage.
My journey has been filled with exciting shifts and a continuous pursuit of knowledge in the ever-evolving field of multimedia. I remain dedicated to exploring new frontiers and making meaningful contributions to this dynamic domain.
